Game Review: Snow Rally Canada
Techies have known about the Google Android platform for designing games for several years. But up until recently it was fairly unknown to most of the world outside of the tech realm. It has suddenly garnered a lot of interest thanks to Google introducing their new mobile device, the Nexus One. The Nexus One debuted in January 2010. That means more people are going to be turning to mobile devices and when one already works off the Android platform you can expect some great games; games such as Snow Rally Canada to be precise.
Snow Rally Canada is a pretty straightforward racing game. But instead of racing around streets or a track you get to race in the great Canadian wilderness. That means learning to drive on ice and through snow. It does add a bit of excitement to the game as you struggle to keep your vehicle on the road. You will have to dodge plenty of obstacles if you want to win against the competitors.
The game really does have some incredible graphics and you will definitely be surprised that this is a game designed for your cell phone. As an added bonus, you get to try out different vehicles which can completely change up the gaming experience for you.
Before you download the game you will need to make sure your phone is compatible with the right graphics processor and you will have to buy a memory card. Your phone’s built in memory will not be enough to hold the game.
It seems as if every day new developers are releasing more games on the Google Android gaming platform. And with the debut of the Nexus One by Google you can expect many of the existing games to be retooled with better graphics and a better user interface. Snow Rally Canada is not the only racing game available but it does manage to compete with all the rest and still come out ahead. Perhaps it is the snow covered Canadian wilderness that appeals to so many.
The Android platform for mobile phones is a fairly new development, but there is already an ever growing list of game titles to download and play. Visit the Android Games site to read Android game reviews on some of the best games available.
